What We Do
GCM teaches through the media to create awareness of the need to support needy widows and orphans in society, to care for such people, and not to mistreat them. We make the general public know the plight of widows and orphans through radio broadcasts at local FM (radio) stations and also through literature: audio CDs and pamphlets.
Realizing the financial difficulty and the unemployment nature of most of the widows, GCM decided to embark on skill training workshops.
GCM provides skill training sessions to widows that would like to learn ways to generate passive or active income to support themselves (and their children).
The widows are mobilized at the community level, and they come together for group meetings at the office. At these meetings, we exhort them with God’s Word, educate and counsel them on some of the challenges they are facing.
These meetings (weekly,monthly, annually) are also used to distribute available clothes and food to widows and orphans
Radio Ministry
For past 30 years, Rev. Regina Pepra has continued to bless thousands of Ghanaians and people from all over the world through her radio ministry. She uses the platform to educate on the plights and struggles of widows and orphans in Ghana and share the work that we do at God Cares Ministries touching and impact the widows and orphans we serve.
